Studio Class

  • You will use a range of different props and Pilates equipment including the reformer beds, trapeze table, Wunda chair and high barrel.

    The exercises become a little tougher each week, based on your progress. We will work on your major goals and weaknesses, with a clear focus on your short-term and long-term goals. If any new exercise prescription is required, we will incorporate this into your program.

    PLEASE NOTE: Before commencing Studio Pilates you will need to book in for an ‘Initial Assessment’. 

    For those who would like a tailored program, an ‘Initial Assessment’ is a 60 minute appointment with a Pilates Instructor. This one-on-one session will allow the instructor to assess your movement and gain an understanding of your needs and goals.

Full Body Reformer

  • Full body reformer focuses on traditional Pilates principles and techniques, using the reformer beds to condition and build on overall body strength. 

    When practised at least twice a week, you will see daily life improvements including better posture, graceful and efficient movement, and for many, relief from pain associated with physical imbalances such as back pain.  

    Practise Pilates classic repertoires such as Planks, Snakes, Teasers and Hundreds!

Arms, Abs and Ass Reformer

  • A progression from Full Body Reformer, this class focuses on toning the arms, core and glutes. A more intense workout guaranteed to have you feeling the burn in all the right spots!

    Duration: 45 mins

    Fitness Level: Intermediate

    Max Clients: 6

Restorative Reformer

  • One of the biggest causes of lack of mobility is a lack of strength. Age only has a minor impact on strength, rather it is due to a lack of strength training. Pilates is excellent for building strength in a safe, supervised environment.

    Duration: 45 mins

    Fitness Level: Beginners, Seniors

    Max Clients: 6

  • ➢ Improve Balance & Reduce the Risk of Falls: While you work on your strength, you will also work on balance. The exercises are specifically designed to address the factors that have the biggest effect on your balance.

    ➢ Manage Type 2 Diabetes: Strength training has been shown to be an important element in managing diabetes, by improving muscle mass, glucose metabolism and the number of glucose sensors/receptors in muscle.

    ➢ Improve Quality of Life: Doing regular Pilates will allow you to move with more freedom and enable you to get back to, or keep doing, the things you love with greater ease and enjoyment – gardening, looking after your grand-kids, travelling, or playing golf.

CLASS TERMS & CONDITIONS 

We prefer that all classes are paid for and booked online. This will secure your place in the class. 

There is a 24-hour cancellation charge for all classes – this means that if you cancel a class within 24 hours you will be required to pay for the class. Please be sure that you can attend the class before making a booking. You can gain access to our online booking system by calling the studio. 

Classes may be cancelled if there is not more than one person booked. Please be sure to check the online booking system before you come to a class to ensure that it is running. We will attempt to call you if your class has been cancelled, but this is not always possible. 

Any packs or memberships that are purchased cannot be shared with others. Packs are valid for 3 months from date of purchase, except for 20 packs which have a 6 month expiry. 

There are strictly no refunds on classes, packs or memberships purchased. 

Please note: Packs are not transferrable.
